Linda was an amazing and wonderful person and dear friend. She had such a caring spirit and was always wanting to help others. The love of God shined through her. I just loved her and so did my family. I enjoyed watching the pictures. I had to watch them 4 times. They made me cry. They were happy tears and thanks to God that He put such a beautiful friend in my life. She will be missed. Kayla, we love you dear, and we are praying for you every day. The Lord is our refuge and strength. He will be there to help you each day and to see you through whatever you face in the coming days.

    To my big sister Linda,

From the very beginning, you were my guide, my protector, and my blueprint for how to live. Losing you leaves a space that nothing else can fill, but the love you gave me is a permanent part of who I am.

I keep coming back to the beautiful memories we shared, especially the time you took me to my first concert. Yes it was Alice Cooper at the Checkerdome. You didn’t just share your music with me; you shared your world. I remember the excitement, the loud music, and how safe I felt just being next to you. You made me feel grown-up, included, and so incredibly loved. So many concert from St. Louis to West Cost and the time we counted “nana” in Journey song and we were laughing so hard messing up count and stated over. All the different types of music we loved to go and experience together in person.

And then, of course, there are the road trips that became instant family legends. I will never forget the unforgettable time we took Mom and Aunt Modean to Tijuana. What a wild, hilarious, and beautiful memory. Navigating that trip with them, laughing until our sides hurt, and watching the two of them experience it all is a memory I will hold close for the rest of my days. You had a way of making every trip feel like a grand adventure, and you brought so much joy to everyone around you.

It was unforgettable learning experiences going to art and history museums with Linda. Mom and I would sit and listen to Linda share her love for art for hours (yes sometimes for hours). Mom would fill with pride when Linda could share her love and knowledge with a person she didn’t know. Linda lives on in every painting and historical story we shared together, keeping her beautiful voice alive in my heart forever.

The heart of who we are comes back to our family. The tight circle of Mom, Randy, you, and me after the loss of our beautiful Father. A rare and beautiful thing. We were a family that stood fiercely together. Through the highest celebrations and the deepest hardships, together through it all.
Thank you for standing by me, no matter what. You have shown me what unconditional loyalty looks like. No distance, time, or challenge can shake the foundation we had built. I am so deeply grateful for your strength, your laughter, and the irreplaceable place you hold in our family and in my heart.

To my big sister, thank you again for a lifetime of love and guidance. I take comfort knowing you are resting peacefully in heaven with Mom, Dad, and Randy. Until we are all reunited again, you will forever live on in my heart and memories. I know you haven’t truly left me. I can feel your presence in the quiet moments. I know you are watching over me from above, acting as my guardian angel just like you always did on earth. I love you always, sis. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the lifelong protection. Rest in peace until we meet again.
