Linda Kay Lewis Meyer passed away peacefully February 9th surrounded by her family. Linda was a cherished mother to Jacob Simmons, Samuel Simmons, Emily Meyer and Jeffrey Meyer as well as an eccentric and loving aunt to Bart Lewis, Elizabeth Mills, Daniel Lewis, Dusty Acklie, Jared Acklie, Jennifer May, Whitney Nemecek, Stephen Nemecek and Samantha Lewis.

Born to Jerry and Emily Lewis in St. Charles, Missouri, Linda was the proud sister of Rick Lewis, Kathy Lewis, Kathy Hundley, and the beloved sister of the late Stephen Lewis.

Linda attended Saint Charles High School and two years of college at Cape Girardeau where her professional journey began in Human Resources at Hasco, where she not only excelled in her role but also forged a lifelong friendship with Douglas Thompson. Linda’s compassionate nature led her as a volunteer at Camp Zoe.

After a rewarding period at Camp Zoe, Linda returned to her roots in St. Charles, where she retired and entered her new role as a grandmother to Carter, Gibson, Darby, and Halle.

As we say goodbye to Linda, let us remember the life Linda enjoyed, shared and most of all did it her way.
