Linda Manwaring

Linda L. Manwaring, 75, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 18, 2021. Linda was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Homer Isles and Roby Bays. She was a loving Mother to three boys: Thomas (Deana) Manwaring, Robert Manwaring, and Kevin (Holly) Manwaring, as well as a loving “Nana” to her grandchildren: Austin, Cole, Caitlyn, Edison, Grayson, Jay, Norah and Zachary. Linda was predeceased by her companion, Bob Corey.

Linda was a good person, who lived a good life. She was kind, compassionate, and independent. She loved family, friends, flowers/gardening, animals, and dancing. Linda served in the medical field for much of her life, serving others in times of sickness and injury, and then went on to care for her grandchildren in their younger years. Linda made a mean chicken noodle soup and often brightened her family’s day with a batch of cookies, or a crazy new hair color – she kept life exciting and rich.

Linda’s later years were consumed with cancer, which she fought courageously and successfully, achieving remission before her passing. Despite her illness, she continued to display a zest for life and a willingness to help others. Her presence will be missed by her family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, please consider donations to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri.
