Linda McGillis
Linda McGillis, age 82, of Columbia IL , passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026 from natural causes. She was born December 23, 1943 in Kennett, MO.
Linda was preceded in death by Earl and Mary Gibson (parents), Gerald Gibson (brother), Leon Gibson (brother) and Amanda Hasler (grand daughter) . She is survived by Richard McGillis (son) & Patricia Townsend (daughter), Denita McGillis Arnold (daughter), Kathy Hoffelmeyer McGillis (daughter), Elizabeth McGillis (daughter) and grandchildren, Jacob Kidd, Melissa Hasler Orr, Andrew Hasler, Eugene and Caitlyn McGillis, and Jesse and Kilian Orr.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.

Kathy and family, that’s a beautiful photo of Linda. She was such a lovely lady. I have lots of fond memories of our escapades. She’s at peace now and will fiercely watch over all of you from above. She lived the life she wanted. Sending you all good thoughts and prayers.
