Lisa Hughes
Lisa Hughes, born January 15, 1964, in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 21, 2025, after bravely battling numerous health conditions. She was the beloved daughter of Barbara and Ernest Bell.
Lisa is survived by her loving siblings: Joe Smith (married to Patty), Tom Smith (married to Caroline), and Diana Cotner (married to Nelson). She was a loving mother to her three children: Heather Podgornik (married to Patrick), Barbara King (married to James), and Jennifer Ryan (married to John). Lisa was also a proud grandmother to 11 cherished grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.
A strong-willed and spirited individual, Lisa had a great sense of humor and a deep love for animals and nature. She showed unconditional love and compassion to everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held on May 10, 2025, at 12 PM at The Summit, located at 1511 Park Dr., Crystal City, MO 63019. All are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating her beautiful life.

Lisa did have a great sense of humor.
It is very hard to lose your mother or any parent.
I am so glad that I got to know her and her beautiful family. Heather, Jennifer and Barbara will always have a special place in my heart.
