Lisa Marie Frazier

Lisa Marie Frazier of Fenton, passed away after a brave fight with Cancer on May 27th, 2025 at the age of 68. She left this world at her home surrounded by her family into the waiting arms of Jesus Christ.

She was born on October 8th, 1956. In Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jack Frazier; her three children Vanessa Hope Jansen, Peyton Marie, Jackson Christian (Kara), Sister Karen Madsen and Brother Douglas Madsen.

Lisa was raised in Springfield, MO and graduated from Parkview High School in 1974. Lisa then went to the University of Missouri and received a Master’s degree in Social Work.

Lisa spent most of her career as a Social Worker at Barnes Hospital working in the Transplant Department. She loved her wide range of pets from Snakes, Lizards, Rabbits, Hamsters, Ferrets, Cats and Dogs. So also loved sitting under her Gazebo and admiring her beautiful backyard while her dogs played.

Fun-loving and full of light, Lisa had a way of making ordinary moments feel special. Whether it was through a heartfelt conversation, or her special smile, she had a gift for turning every day into a blessing.

 

A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in her name to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

    I’m so sorry Jack. I saw your post that she had cancer and to say a prayer. I prayed for her strength and recovery. I’m sorry it wasn’t enough to save her. I hate cancer. She’s in peace now. Sending love to your family.

    Jack. you lost a gem. I have so many great memories of her. The day that you brought Jackson home from the hospital, I was visiting. Lisa handed him to me and said, Hold him, I need a nap The day that she told you, that you have a family, get rid of some of your toys. You sold me your Scrambler for my son. Nothing but great memories.
