It was an honor to have met Lisa and enjoyed her company. She was such a lovely woman and has left us much too soon. Sending love to Laura and Leslie, Kim and Cindy and Paul and the rest of the family. RIP beautiful Lisa. You will be missed so very much.
Lisa was such a good and caring friend to me and many others. I have such fond memories of the many walks we took together and sitting talking and drinking tea in her sun room. Loved looking out at her birds and beautiful garden. I remember helping her clean up mountains of gum balls from her sweet gum tree and walking through her garden sharing about plants. I miss the bright spot she was in my life.
I knew Lisa for nine years, I’m so thankful for the time I was able to spend with her. She was a wonderful person, always smiling, and always a kind word. She will be greatly missed. Matilda and honey will sure be glad to see their momma!!!
Lisa, you were one of the best-we knew each other in High School, college at Drury and beyond. You loaned me maternity clothes when I needed them and then took care of my baby while I went to work. We spent many days talking about life and family. We lost contact somewhere along the way, and then I moved to Washington state. I am saddened by your family’s loss. All of our loss. Your friendship will always be remembered and cherished.
Took more than a week to get used to losing you. Thanks for raising our kids together…. I know your kindness optimism and humor prolonged your life. Thank you for staying longer to let us love you thru more seasons. Thought I would be ready…. I realize none of us can prepare for a void in our hearts…. Rest now knowing you left us all better off for having known you.
I am so grateful to have known such a kind hearted, and loving person as Lisa. She would always offer to help others out, either at work or home. We used to work together. I remember when she realized I did not have a clue as to how to host my daughter’s bridal shower, she immediately stepped in and took over. I will miss Lisa very much.❤️
We only knew Lisa for about 18 months, but it was such a pleasure. We met because of taking a trip to the Holy Land together. She was always smiling and upbeat. If she hadn’t told us, we would never have guessed she was ill with a terminal diagnosis. She was an inspiration to all on our pilgrimage and an example of faith and trust in God. May she rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord.
