Lois Eileen Stitch

Lois Eileen Stitch of St. Charles, MO passed away Monday, September 21, 2015, at the age of 85. Lois was married to Morton Stitch for 56 years. She leaves behind four children who cherish her memory: Merryl, Mark (Kerry), Brian (Kris), and Doug (Susan). Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren complete her legacy.
Lois proudly served in the Air Force as a registered nurse where she met and married the love of her life, “Morty”. She was active and enjoyed her participation in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Lois was an accomplished seamstress, loved to bake, and her homemade fudge was a classic loved by everyone. In her later life, Lois enjoyed her family vacations and road trips, her Bible study class, and was recently baptized following her profession of faith.
A Military service will be held on Friday, September 25, at 1:00 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Urban Missions and designate “Shower to the People” in the memo line.
