Loretta C. “Lori” Hemenway
Loretta C. “Lori” Hemenway (nee Cymbalski), age 74, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018 at St. Luke’s Surrey Place in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve Tencza and her brother Joseph Cymbalski. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, Lori is survived by her husband Steve, her children, Daryl Hemenway (Jessica Ulstad) and Bethany Trapp (Gregg), and her granddaughter, Madeleine Trapp.
Lori was born in Hamtramck, Michigan, in 1944. She and Steve were married January 18, 1964, and lived together in San Rafael, CA, and St. Louis, MO, before moving to Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy their retirement at their lake home in Camdenton, MO.
Lori attended the University of Michigan, then became an RN who later earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Louis University. Her nursing career spanned over 40 years, and she was especially proud of her work training and mentoring young nurses and CNAs.
