Thank you Don for sending this. Have thought about the two of you so often and have missed you both. Lorraine’s smile could make your whole day better and when the two of you looked at each other you glowed. The love was beautiful. The memories will always bring smiles. I am proud to have met and know both of you.
Hugs to You Don and the Family

A great loss to everyone. I have know you both for 30 years and considered Lorraine as a friend, co-worker and family, she was a member of my family and highly respected. Although life has separated us she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere sympathy to everyone in the Christofferson family, you have lost a loving wife, mother and grandmother, heaven has gained a wonderful and beautiful angel.

Oh Don – I’m so glad we talked today – when I got your letter….I could not open it. I knew it was not going to be good news. So went back to our apartment and broke down crying. My memories are so completely fond of how you were to everyone in the neighborhood. When Ron and his wife threw that Going Away party and giving you the Wheaton Blanket to remind you of us. We have truly been missed. That era of time is gone. When neighbors shared hello’s – Welcome to our neighborhood. Lorraine was the second person to ring our bell to offer her service. I think she even took MOM’s blood pressure one time for us. So truly sorry for your loss. We never knew your son or daughter, but felt that had to be great, they came from great stock. Please keep in touch – as I told you I’m moving to Wood Dale now, to be with Pat. After-all, she is my only sibling and as I was her caretaker, you know she would have done the same for me. God Bless you (and he will) and we know already, Lorraine is your new Angel watching out for you. She lit up many a surgery room as well with her loving way to those undergoing any surgery. God Speed Lorraine. Tell our MOM hi. (you two never met our DAD).
