
Louis Walter Williams Jr.
August 14, 1931 – November 18, 2025
Louis Walter Williams, Jr., passed away at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his sister Marceline Saphian (Russell). Known as “Walt” to friends and family, he is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Steven (Barbara) and Andrew, grandchildren Laura Grossenheider (Matt) and Sarah Williams (Ryan Graves), and great-grandchildren Lilly, Aiden and
Ethan Grossenheider and Josie Graves.
Walt earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Southwest Missouri State University before marrying Marilyn Horst on May 23, 1953. He then served in Korea as a Sergeant in the US Army. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as an accountant at several companies before becoming the CFO at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He retired in 1994.
Over the years, Walt enjoyed jogging, bike riding and golfing. He participated in many activities at Church of the Master UCC, including singing in the choir. As a stand-up bass player, singer and joke teller, he performed regularly with Those 3 Guys, a band that played bluegrass and gospel music at senior living facilities.
Family and friends will miss Walt’s loving kindness and warm smile. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on November 30, 2025, at Ever True Breeze Park chapel, 600 Breeze Park Dr., Weldon Spring, MO 63304.
