Luther L. Clauss, Jr.

Passed gently on October 14th into the hands of his maker.

Survived by loving wife Elizabeth “Libby” Clauss (nee Sperow); 5 adored sons: Luther L. Clauss III ( Sue), Fred Clauss (Terri), Mark Clauss, Jim Clauss (Kelly) and Timothy Clauss (Beth); and 9 grandchildren.

Luther was born on July 10th, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina to Luther L. Clauss, Sr. and Ruby Elaine Wickman.

Luther was a physics teacher at several different universities before moving on to become a cartographer for the U.S. defense department.

Services: Memorial service on Sunday, Oct. 21st @ 2pm with visitation following at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2030 Union Rd., St. Louis MO 63125. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity’s music program or to the Bethesda Health Group Foundation c/o Hospice, 1630 DesPeres Rd. Ste 290, St. Louis MO 63131 appreciated.
