Lydia La Verne Bodlovich

Lydia La Verne Bodlovich, (nee:  Blanton) of O Fallon, MO passed away Friday November 15, 2019.  She was born in Sullivan, MO and resided in Florissant, MO, Hillsboro MO, Lake Saint Louis, MO, and O’Fallon, MO.

Beloved Wife of the Late Paul J Bodlovich Sr; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Annabelle Blanton; devoted mother of Paul (Mary) Bodlovich Jr, Sue (Walter) Morris, Michael (Christy) Bodlovich; loving grandmother for Christy (James) Gray, Paul/Joe (Tressa) Bodlovich III, Jeremy (Abby) Bodlovich, Jonathan Bodlovich, and Sophie Bodlovich; treasured Great-Grandmother of three.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Don Blanton, Marian Hessemann, and Florence Braun. She is survived by her brother Aaron Blanton.

Lydia’s passions were her art work and crafts.  She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and creating items for her craft business.  She loved the beach, seashells, and nature.  She enjoyed traveling, with trips to Europe, Sanibel Island, other Florida destinations, and trips to Branson where she enjoyed the company of her siblings.

Lydia enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, word search, and sudoku puzzles.  She loved the babies (her great-grandchildren) and always enjoyed their visits and photos.  She was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Private Burial attended by Family members

Memorial Service planned for a later date.

Memorials may be made in Lydia’s name to the National Diabetes Association.
