
Lynette Josephine Townsend (Blumer)
Lynette Josephine Townsend (Blumer), or loving wife/mother/Nana/sister/aunt and friend; passed away surrounded by those who loved her, on November 1, 2025 just shy of 64.
Lynette is preceded in death by her mother and father, Fred & Marie Blumer, as well as her sister Pearl Powell.
She will be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by; her husband Mark Townsend, children Justin (Amy) Townsend, Sarah (Ryan)Bodkin and Travis Townsend. Also, her grandchildren Jackson Townsend and Adellyn Bodkin. She was the youngest of 6 children, siblings being: Joann Worst (Ed), late sister Pearl Powell (John), Diana Mills (Glen), Silvia “Susan” DeGunia (Lou) and brother Fred (Pat) Blumer.
She loved her family fiercely. She also loved flowers & gardening, along with anything animals… especially her dogs, granddogs and horse Honey of 32 years.
Our wife/mom is now in the arms of our Lord, and her loved ones have peace in knowing they will be together again in heaven one day.

So sorry for your loss. Cannot wrap my head around it. Prayers for the family.

I just found out this sad news from the anesthesiologist we worked together with. I think of Lynette often. I have Nickel Creek on my playlist. Lynette made me a cassette of their songs, so it takes me back to our time working together. Sweetness, that was our Lynette. You were taken way too soon. Won’t be too long and we will meet again. I remember your Honey!
