Lynne Green

Lynne Green, age 80, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025.

Lynne was the daughter of the late Albina Mueller and sister to the late Jennie Krause and Helen Turek.

She was a talented artist whose creativity touched everyone who knew her. She saw beauty in everyday life and shared it through her art, photography, and handcrafted jewelry. Whether capturing a quiet moment with her camera or designing a unique piece of jewelry, Lynne had a gift for helping others see the world in a more meaningful way.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Hari Carr; her nieces, Melanie Smith, Jackie LeBaube and Lauri Oberkramer; her nephews, Larry Krause and Matt Turek; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa, Rebecca, Josh, Justus, Zachary, Jackson, Lucas and Ayden. She was preceded in death by her beloved great-nephew, James.

All adored her warmth, humor, and generous spirit. Lynne was more than family—she was a friend, a mentor, and a source of comfort and joy. Those who knew Lynne will never forget her gentle smile, her love of creativity, and her ability to make everyone around her feel valued and cared for. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her and in the art she leaves behind.

A private family gathering to celebrate Lynne’s life will be held at Whitecliff Park on November 2nd @ 1pm.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family on your loss. Lynne was a one-of-a-kind jewel, as beautiful and special as the art she created. Her commitment and devotion to her family and friends knew no boundaries. I am grateful to have called her a friend for nearly five decades and will miss her and cherish her memory always.

I met Lynne Green back in my college days. She became a friend of mine because I was drawn to how kind and empathetic she was. She cared deeply about her family and friends. Up to the time that she left us even with her health issues she continued to have a good and caring heart. She was also a remarkably creativity artist. I will dearly miss Lynne.
    RIP

Lynne was a wonderful colleague at the colorful NYC show business PR firm where we both worked. She was full of life, had a great sense of fun and was quite brave. She was always upbeat. Her art work was terrific. I know she and Diana Parker forged a great friendship, which spoke so well for both of them. Lynne is greatly missed already.

We had some great times in NYC and St. Louis. She directed Tim Hansen and Cheri Epping and I in A Slight Ache At Webster. She was one of a kind…

I remember Lynne from my days at Webster College. She like the way that I made her laugh and doing so was always a pleasure. May her memory be for a blessing…

Many many memories of Lynne, too many to recount. She made a profund impact on my life from the moment we met at Webster. We had lots of drama and lots of fun together. It’s the fun I’ll remember most. She’s smiling in almost all the pictures I have of her. Such a big heart and bright spirit. My condolences to Melanie and Larry and all the family. I know how much she loved you all. Thanks for the beautiful obituary and photo.
