Mae Froebel Jett slipped from life holding hands with her grandchildren into the hands of Jesus Wed. July 24, 2013 at the age of 98.
She was born March 4,1915 in Philadelphia and married to her beloved husband,the late Carl Froebel. They lived in New Jersey, moving to Webster Groves, Mo. in 1950.
She will be loved and remembered by her 3 children Carl Froebel, the late Jerry Froebel, and Marilyn Warner. Her 5 grandchildren Mark (Heather) Warner, Michael (Shana) Warner, Allen Warner, Shane Froebel, Tamara (Michael) Salkin, and 4 great grandchildren Chase, Hannah Mae, Samantha and Bo Warner.
She was a member and officer of the St.Louis Women’s District Golf Association, enjoyed tennis and numerous bridge clubs.
She was a charter member of the St. Louis knitters guild, an accomplished knitter.
Mae delivered Meal on Wheels in the area for any years.
She was a gourmet cook and entertained her family and friends often.
We will miss her deeply.
