Margaret E. Jackson of Fort Wayne, departed on Saturday, Oct. 28 2023 in St. Louis, MO. Born January 12, 1952 she was the son of late Jazz musician Fred R. Jackson Sr. and Hattie Louise (Lois) Thurston Jackson. She was a native to Fort Wayne, a graduate of Southside High school and worked in the food services industry prior to relocating to St. Louis in 2005 to care for an ailing aunt. She will be missed by her children: Stacie L. Jackson, Keysha T. Jackson-Wattley, Cameron E. Jackson, Darricia E. White, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also, sister Rozlyn Thompson (Norbert) and brother Christopher Jackson. She was preceded in death by her father Fred R. Jackson Sr, mother Hattie Louise (Lois) Thurston Jackson, Aunt Cora Jones (William), brother Fred R. Jackson Jr, and nephew Jermaine Thompson.
