Margaret “Maggie” Wheaton (née Tackaberry) of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri died peacefully from complications due to advanced Alzheimer’s Disease on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Breeze Park Skilled Nursing facility. She was born on September 7, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Bernard and Loretta Tackaberry.

Maggie was a proud 1965 graduate of Ursuline Academy in Arcadia, Missouri. On May 29, 1971, she was united in marriage with Thomas G. Wheaton. She was a loving, involved mother to Sara, Meghan, and Katie. Maggie was an active community member at St. Matthias in South County and Immaculate Conception of Dardenne. She was happy to spend her time helping others through volunteer work with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Maggie was a beloved member of a wide circle of friends and family.

Maggie is survived by her loving husband Tom, a retired Mehlville Fire District Captain. Survivors also include daughters Sara Klein; Meghan Cirrito; and Kathleen Wheaton; four grandchildren Grace and Max Klein and Owen and Cormac Cirrito; sister Celia Tackaberry and brothers Michael and John Tackaberry.
