Marian Tilton

Marian Tilton, born October 1, 1952, passed away peacefully at Cedarhurst of Arnold on October 30, 2025, surrounded by love and care. A devoted wife, caring stepmother, beloved sister and sister-in-law, and loyal friend, Marian touched the lives of many with her quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering kindness.

Raised in Collinsville. Illinois, Marian lived a life marked by grace and generosity. She spent her career in the insurance industry, where she not only built a reputation for dedication and professionalism but also formed many lifelong friendships that enriched her life deeply. Marian had a deep love of animals, whether caring for them as pets, or supporting shelters, she never met a stray that she didn’t have room for. Her gentle spirit extended to all living things, and her empathy left a lasting impression on those that knew her.

Marian also loved to travel, especially cherishing her trips to Europe and the memorable “girl trips” she took. These adventures brought her laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories with dear friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clint; her stepdaughters, Rebecca Biss and Amy Turnipseed; her sisters, Terri (Jim) Odorizzi and Eileen (Don) Robinson; her brothers, Paul (Renee) Koehne and Tom Koehne; her in-laws, Steve and Lynn Tilton, and George and Trish Tilton; and her many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Marian’s life will be held at a later date, to be announced.

Marian was a gem. Up for anything and made any time together special. The girl’s trips were many and memorable. I am blessed and privileged to have had Marian in my life. She was a true friend indeed. My heart is full and broken at the same time. Thank you Clint for your love and devotion to Marian.
