Mariano was surrounded by his beloved family when he entered his eternal rest with our Holy Father on June 24, 2021, at 11:45 PM at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He was born on Dec. 30, 1930, in Candon, Philippines, and emigrated to the United States in 1972. Mariano is survived by his wife of 60 years, Angeles, his children Job and his wife Kristine and their children Nicholas and Gabriella, Czarina, and Ana and her husband Rae and their children Alexander, Roland, and Olivia.

Mariano lived a full life focused on his family. He worked as a professional structural engineer for many years most notably with Sverdrup and retired from Kuhlman Design Group in St. Louis, contributing to several large projects in the St. Louis area. Mariano was a dedicated engineer who always worked hard and sacrificed to provide a good life for his family. A quiet, kind-hearted, and generous man, Mariano always made time for his family and friends. He was always proud of his three children and his greatest joy in life was his five grandchildren. Mariano loved to travel, listen to the oldies, and watch western movies. He will be missed dearly and cherished always.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 17 Ann Ave., Valley Park, MO 63088.
