Marie L. Crump (nee Hafferkamp) passed away on Feb. 15, 2015 at the age of 99. Wife of the late Kenneth J. Borgwald and the late L. Lloyd Crump. Mother of Ken (Pat) Borgwald, Jim Borgwald and Mary (Bill) Kottkamp. Step-mother of Steve Crump, Suzy Crump and Tom (Jeni) Crump. Grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 4, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt and great-great-great aunt. She was a graduate of Harris Teachers College. She taught first grade in the Kirkwood School District, was active in the Washington University Dental Wives and was an avid Bridge Player. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood where she taught Sunday School, was the Treasurer of the Women’s Association, and was a Deacon. She was also active in the community, serving Meals on Wheels and with the Girl Scouts.

Services: Memorial Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood at 11:00 on Sat. Feb. 21st. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood Women’s Association or a non-profit organization of your choice.
