Marijah Nichole
Marijah Nichole, of St. Louis, MO, passed on from this earthly world on April 10th at the age of 32. Loving daughter of Tina (Young) and Dave Koeb; dear sister of Melissa Crutchfield (Jimmi), Jerrod Scowden (Kristen), and John Bishop Jones II (Shannon); Loving aunt of Leahanna (Will), Bailey Scowden, Kyleigh, Joseph, and Love Jones; cherished niece of Linda Day, Alicia Lombardo, Moni Johnson, and Jeri Ann Young. She was a cousin and friend to so many. Marijah was preceded in death by her beloved great grandmother, Imogene Young and uncles Perry Young, Roscoe Singer, and Billy Brookisher, and so many other loved ones.
Marijah worked as a CNA for most of her adult career, lovingly caring for elderly nursing home residents. She took pride in her work and provided the best care possible. She loved her family, music, and was crazy about SpongeBob. She loved asking her family and her brother’s friends for a dolla, and they would always oblige. She had a knack for making people feel comfortable around her with her warm and welcoming smile. Her infectious laughter, contagious smile, and kind heart endeared her to everyone who knew her. Marijah was just so funny. She delivered many phrases off the cuff that just made people laugh to the point where they remembered what she said years later, and they would laugh again and again. Her kind heart put others first. She felt what people felt and always wanted to leave them with a smile. Marijah was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her warm, funny smile and laughter will live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the honor to know her.
