Mark Aaron Wefler

Mark Aaron Wefler passed away peacefully at St. Louis University Hospital on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the age of 30.

He was born in Merrillville, IN on March 30, 1989.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Robert Hock and Michael Wefler (Farr).

Lovingly remembered by his father, Mark Walter Wefler, his mother, LaShunda G. Wefler. He was the dear brother of Tyler Wefler, Zackary (Shelby) Wefler and Dakota Cottrell, Jacquelyn Wefler, Shayann McGuire, Alysia (Meeghan Swierzek) McGuire, Presley Mott, Kassandra Cottrell and Lilliana (Joe) Dyszczakowski, dear grandson of Judith Chappo, dear nephew of Thomas Wefler and Stasia Wefler, and son of LaTisa Hock, dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Louis University and the Cancer Center, especially, Chaplain Stephen and the Music Therapist, Andrew Dwiggins. The family would also like to thank St Clare Hospital – Fenton.

He will be missed by his great friends and his adoptive Missouri family, Mike & Linda Copeland, Rob Enz and Jonathan Smith as well as his lifelong childhood friend Patrick Huff and Julie Calandro.

Service: A memorial service will be held Friday, August 30, 2019, from 2:00pm til 5:00pm at the St. Louis Cremation Chapel, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St Louis, MO 63103.

    He understood the whole chapter from my first few words
    He was strong with courage thousands of time more than his strength
    He tried very hard not to let us down
