Mark Brown
Mark Joseph Brown, born August 3, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on February 9, 2026. Mark was 59 years old and a lifelong resident of St. Louis, a city he proudly called home throughout his life.
Mark was the beloved son of John H. Brown and Marilyn L. Brown (Hankey), both of whom survive him. He was a loving brother to Tim Brown (Mary), Mike Brown (Tracy), and Sheila Levi-Clutts. Mark was a proud and devoted uncle to his nephew, Spencer Levi, and greatly cherished that role.
Mark worked his early years as a programmer for a corrugated box company and later as a roofer. During his lifetime, Mark consistently demonstrated
Mark found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved family gatherings, going to lunch with his dad, late phone calls to his mom, taking walks around the neighborhood, and reminiscing with his siblings about childhood memories. He enjoyed watching true crime shows, reading and watching documentaries, and playing lottery scratchers. Above all, Mark deeply loved his family.
At a young age, Mark was baptized and saved at Christy Park Baptist Church, a faith that remained throughout his life.
Mark will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race.”
