Mark was a longtime Webster Groves resident and member of Mary Queen Of Peace Parish for 65 years. He was a proud graduate of South Side Catholic High School. Serving his country in World War II and The Korean War, he earned The Purple Heart. His career in sales spanned many years.
On September 2 Mark married his sweetheart Alice (Rube) and they spent more than 62 years together. Mom and Dad raised their children to believe that there was nothing better than spending time together with family and friends on the front porch. Although he had many interests and activities, most precious to him were his family and friends. Dad never knew a stranger and had more friends in his lifetime than anyone could ever wish for.
Remembrance on Wednesday, September 6, with visitation at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 10:30 am, and Holy Mass at noon.
Burial Jefferson Barracks 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimers Association appreciated by the family.
Dear Ellen and the entire Jackson family,
My heart goes out to you in your loss. In reading your father’s obituary, it is easy to see he lived his life well. You must be so proud of him. Prayers for peace for your entire family and the repose of your dad’s dear soul.
