Mary Ann Shillito
Mary Ann (nee Jacobsmeyer) Shillito. Beloved wife of John E. Shillito for 56 wonderful years. Mary Ann died on 4 September 2015 at the age of 77. Dearest daughter of the late Lt. Col. Adolph C. Jacobsmeyer (SLMPD) and the late Bertha McKeon Jacobsmeyer. Mother of John K. (Kelly) Shillito, Michael (Kelly) Shillito, Mary (Michael) Lynch, Thomas (Marcelle) Shillito, Judy (Thomas) Bindbeutel, Kathy (Thomas Damke) Shillito, and Maureen (Jeff) Bell. Cherished sister of Judy (Jim) Hennessey, Janet (John) Poelker, Steve (Paddy) and Adolph W. (Sheila) Jacobsmeyer, and the late Lynn Jacobsmeyer. Mary Ann was the grandmother of 11 and the proud aunt of 21 nieces and nephews.
She was an accomplished swimmer, diver, and trampolinist. She attended Holy Rosary Grade School, Beaumont High School, and Florissant Valley C.C. She was a nurse at Marillac Provincial Retirement Center and at Christian Northwest Hospital.
Remembrance Gathering from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM 17 September 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cottleville, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.

I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Mrs. Shillito. She was a wonderful, sweet lady who I know will be missed. The family is in my thoughts and prayers at this hard time.

Maureen & Family…. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom had a great smile and she radiated joy! I have such happy memories of her. I Know you must be in a lot of pain during this difficult time. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Maureen.. It meant so much to see you at my dads wake in February 2013. We shared such a long history together at Good Shepherd and I value those great memories. We live in Houston now but I wish I were closer at times like this so that I could stop in and support you in person. Please know that I am with you in spirit and in prayer.
