Mary Arnac

Mary Frances “Fran” Arnac, 74, of De Soto died Dec. 27, 2019, at Mercy South in St. Louis County. Ms. Arnac was a food service manager through Food Service Consultants Inc. at St. Pius X High School in Crystal City. She was an auxiliary member of VFW Post 4105, Florissant. Born Nov. 20, 1945, in Hot Springs, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Bessie Mary Krahwinkle and the late George David Milich Sr.

She is survived by a son: David (Pattama) Oswell of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter: Andrea (Kent) Irby of De Soto; four grandchildren: Alex Oswell of Virginia Beach, Va.; Adrianna Oswell of Keller, Texas; Zachary (Kaitlyn Capestro) Holmes of Dittmer; Seth (Danielle) Holmes of De Soto; two great-grandchildren: Ensley Charlotte Kai Holmes of De Soto and Leigha Jacqueline Oswell of Fort Worth, Texas; and two nephews: Phil (Lori) Busby of Florissant and Michael (Theresa) Busby of Lake St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Summer Kai Holmes; and by two siblings: George David Milich Jr. and Arvina “Penny” Busby.

A niche opening/burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. A celebration of life will follow from 3-6 p.m. at the Gathering Room, 116 N. Main St., in De Soto.
