Mary Coon
Mary Coon passed away peacefully on the morning of December 8, 2019.
Mary moved from Michigan to Hollywood, California at the age of eighteen where she met the love of her life, Jack Coon, her husband of sixty-six years. She basked in the family she and Jack started, and her smile and wit stayed ever present.
Mary is survived by her children Bob Beck-Coon (wife Kathy), Nancy Manse (husband Lafayane), Steve Coon (wife Teressa), nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends.
When asked by a nurse if she knew where she was, Mary simply smiled and said, “I am right here.” And that is where Mary will stay … right here in our hearts. Outside the family, her interests ranged from a good bridge hand and game of golf to world affairs. The family is very grateful for all the support and love offered by friends and medical and spiritual caregivers.
Services will be at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church on Clayton Rd., Ellisville, MO, at 1 PM, Dec. 28. Memorial donations can be made to the church in lieu of flowers at https://stmartinschurch.org/
