Mary DeBlaze

Mary Janet DeBlaze (Jan), age 88, passed away peacefully on 5/12/23 at her home in St. Charles.

Jan was born in St. Louis, MO to William Edward Davidson and Winifred Jane Davidson (nee Elkan) on April 29, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack Davidson, brother Patrick Davidson and sister Claire Gary, her husband of 61 years Vincent F DeBlaze and 2 of her daughters, Mary DeBlaze and Janet Kilker. Jan is survived by her children Vincent F DeBlaze, Jr. (Lucia), Suzanne DeBlaze- Elsenrath (Terry), Jeffrey DeBlaze and Michael De Blaze. Jan is also survived by her brother Michael Davidson and sister-in law Brenda Davidson.

She was the cherished grandmother of Cory Elsenrath, Cody Elsenrath (Coley), Matthew Elsenrath, Erik Elsenrath and Alex DeBlaze (Jordan). She was also the great-grandmother (Meemaw) to Giuliana and Dominic Elsenrath. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She loved being around friends and family.

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Cottleville on June 9th 2023 at 10:00am and a Mass at 11:00am. Following the mass will be a Celebration of Life open house at Chapter One Clubhouse located at 100 Hemingway Lane, Weldon Spring MO.

    We miss you desperately, Aunt Jan. You had a huge, generous heart and are loved by many of us. I treasure our lunch memories and visits in your home. May you now know peace. We love you always.
