I met Donna and her family through Erin Reid and her daughter Gwynneth Scallions, our granddaughter. Donna embraced everyone in her extended family and was a good example for me as a new grandma. She will definitely be missed.
I met Donna and Donald many years ago when she became childcare provider for my daughter and later my son. Then, when my daughter needed a sitter for her children years later they became the perfect choice.i am so grateful for the love and care they provided to my children and grandchildren and the friendship that developed between us over the years. I remember the words “TLC for your toddler or infant.” That began her ad and rang true always. We remained friends until her passing even though the children were all grown and on their own. I am so thankful for them.
Donna was my childcare provider for many years and then taught me so much about childcare in my teens. I spent many years working in childcare before deciding to get into social services. Thankful to have had such an amazing daycare provider. I will be thinking of all her friends and family from New Mexico.
My Aunt Donna was one of the kindest and sweetest people that I have had the privilege of knowing. She was a blessing to anyone who knew her. She was always thoughtful, kind and fun. Anytime we visited she made sure we had a wonderful time. I remember her teaching me how to play canasta as a teenager, did I mention she also had the patience of Job!!! In all the years of being around her, not one time do I remember her being angry. mad or upset and I never remember her saying anything bad about anyone. She was truly an exceptional person and will be missed by all who knew her.
