MaryJo “Mar” (Price) Schaeffler

Born August 21, 1946 – Died July 7, 2017

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Paul F. Price and Betty J. (Stacey) Price

Married to Kenneth R. Schaeffler, December 4, 1982

Mar is survived by her husband, her brother Jerry E. Price (Melinda) of Atwater Ca., her sister Susan L. (Price) Erb (Sam) of Winton Ca., 3 sons, Paul E. “Eddie” Schaeffler, Troy “Scotty” Conover and Albert “Sammy” Conover and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many good friends.

Mar was recently confirmed into the Catholic Church on May 28, 2017.

Mar loved to travel and loved the holidays, especially Christmas, and loved her St. Louis Cardinals.

Mar has expressed sincere gratitude to the nurses, aides and doctors at SSM Health and Home, formerly SSM Home Care for their services and care during her time in palliative and hospice care. Especially, Katie her nurse and SSM Chaplin Mary M. Memorials in Mar’s name may be given to SSM Health Hospice and Home Health Foundation, HYPERLINK “http://www.ssmhealthathome.com/foundation” http://www.ssmhealthathome.com/foundation

Per her wishes, Mar has chosen to not have a memorial service, but asks that each of her friends and family celebrate her life in their own private way.

A special thanks also goes out to Carolyn Gremminger who has made the last 8 months something very special with her giving of her time and help as caregiver.
