St Louis, Missouri.  Mary Joyce Shone lovingly know as Joyce passed peacefully at St.
Luke’s West Hospital at 91 years of age. Born on September 22nd, 1933, in Granite
City Illinois, she was the daughter of Alpha and Bill Briddle.
She had a successful career as an Executive Assistant and in retail where she was
known for her professionalism and charming demeanor
She was passionate about gardening, cooking, road trips and many culinary
excursions.  Joyce cherished her time spent with family and friends and will be
remembered for her kindness, humor and generosity.
She is survived by her son David Shone Daughter Lisa Shone, Pam Shone Daughter in
law Amanda Shone Daughter in law Grandchildren, Tessa Lawler (husband Cody Lawler) grandson Dane
Shone(wife Amanda Shone), great grandchildren Samuel Shone, Riley Shone and Hudson Lawler. She was
preceded in death of son Don Shone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 18th from 3pm to 6pm at Marriott West
660 Maryville Centre Drive in the Westwood/Bellerive room. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made to Center for Animal Rescue and Enrichment
