Mary “Kat” Campbell Puckett
Mary “Kat” Puckett, nee Campbell passed away August 2, 2020 with her loving daughter, Nikki, by her side.
Mary, better known as Kat, was born April 8,1959 to Osstin Homer Campbell and Mary (Frances) Neace.
Kat was the loving wife of the late Michael Paritz who passed 11/7/2005.
She was the beloved mother of the late 1LT William A Edens, who served bravely for our country and passed while in Iraq on April 28, 2005, Nikki (Sean Warren) Edens, Donnie Puckett, Jennifer Marie, Jani (Jeremy Lasher) Michielsen , Jammika (Josh Flatt) Puckett, Charley (Timothy Mantlo) Puckett-Parker, Roy O. (Stacey Summers)Puckett, Logan (Chelsea Crum) Hesson, Heather (Vince Hinchee) Hinchee , Chance (Sadie Ahrens) Ahrens.
Tiny, as they would call her, loved her grandchildren, Zach Edens, Kat Edens-Lang (Steven Lang) Rebecca Young, Blake Key, Olivia Davies, Sophia Davies, Anna Davies, Kennis Davies, Brooklyn Davies, Jayden Davies, Isaiah Flatt, Jordan Flatt, Jakobe Flatt, Jerimiah Flatt, David Parker Jr, Sydney Parker, Isabella Wix, Kylie Puckett, Caitlyn Wix, Roy Puckett Jr., Violet McCully, Silas Hesson, Scarlett Hesson, William (Xavier) Hinchee, Blyne Alexander, Desmond Ahrens, Maggie Ahrens, Liam Warren, Bayle Sweazey, Tiny would come to be known as GiGi by her great-grandchildren, Madison Zumwalt, Becca Lang, Kayden Lang, Serenity Lang, Landyn Lang, Skylar Edens, we cannot forget the grandpups, Gremlin and Gizmo and was sister to Melissa.
Kat loved reading about history and wanted to be an archeologist as a kid, she was a great cook and was known for her stuffed pork chops, motorcycles was a fun hobby she shared with her husband, Michael, music, Journey and Styx were her favorites and loved to see them live every time they came to town, she collected unicorns, her children always knew what to get her for special occasions, and stayed busy connecting with friends and playing games on facebook.
She loved working as an over the road truck driver, while on her runs she would try to stop and see the country, especially loved stopping by to the Smithsonian when possible, before driving, she worked as a waitress for many years, Kat never net a stranger and would light up a room when she entered it.
Kat loved her children above all else, she made mistakes in her life but she never felt like her kids were one of them.
She will always be remembered as saying, “I love you, I’m just a phone call away if you ever need me.”
A celebration of life will be held, August 22, 2:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 106 HWY A, Hawk Point, MO 63349.
