(nee Lafferty) passed away peacefully in hospice care on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Mary Lou lived 90 years. Born on October 12, 1921 in Quincy, IL, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle Lafferty. Beloved wife of the late Warren F Stolz; dearest sister of Alice Astroth of Salt Lake City, UT; preceded in death by her son David; loving mother of James F Stolz, , Stephen A (Barbara) Stolz, Linda (Randy) Strunk; She also is survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mary Lou was a librarian for most of her working life retiring at the age of 79.
Services: Memorial Service on Sat May 19, 11 AM at Ferguson Presbyterian Church, 401 Darst Road, Ferguson, MO, 63135. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Mercy Hospice c/o Mercy Health Foundation, 615 S New Ballas Rd, St Louis, MO, 63141 or charity of choice.
