Mary Lynn Krohn

Lynn Krohn, 60, of Festus, Missouri, passed away on July 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and raised in Clark, New Jersey, Lynn attended Arthur L. Johnson High School, where she was a three-sport athlete earning numerous athletic accolades including All-State honors. Most recently, she was unanimously selected to be inducted into the Arthur L. Johnson High School Athletic Hall of Fame, a testament to her lasting impact and achievements.

Lynn continued her athletic career on scholarship at the University of South Carolina, where she played softball and earned her Bachelor of Science degree. After college, she moved to Tampa, Florida, before eventually settling in Missouri. She spent 20 dedicated years working for Gannett Fleming.

Lynn loved spending time with her family, friends, and animals, and she will be remembered for her strong spirit, kindness, and unwavering love for those close to her.

She is predeceased by her father, Henry Krohn. She is survived by her partner, Mary “Jodi” Schweiss; her mother, Veronica Krohn; her sister, Tammy Naples, and brother-in-law, Anthony Naples; her nephews, Michael and Daniel Naples; and her great-nephew, Anthony Naples.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
