Mary Margaret Johnson (nee Moore) passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in St. Louis, MO on December 21, 1930. She was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Mary Moore and husband, William Johnson. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Steven Johnson, Carol (Mark) White, and Thomas Johnson; her grandchildren, Kathryn Waldram and Lorine (William) Carey; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Kampelman and Nicholas Kampelman; and her niece,Janet (Robert) Hoffman and nephew, Richard Weber. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing, and painting landscapes. She regularly attended Holy Hour and Mass at her home parish.
A funeral Mass will be said on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO (in the Chapel, the smaller, original church on the corner) followed by lunch. Internment will then follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, MO.

Mrs. Johnson was a wonderful lady and neighbor. We missed her when she left the neighborhood. She was always so good to our kids and even made our oldest son a teddy bear that turned into his favorite, it had to be repaired several times due to all its adventures with us. We still think of her and Mr. Johnson often.
