Mary Peacock Pearse
Mary Elizabeth Peacock Pearse passed away peacefully in Chesterfield, Missouri on May 11, 2023 at the age of 71. Her spirit is carried on by her children; Daniel Pearse (Ashley), Catherine Wood (Nathan), and Benjamin Pearse (Kimberly); grandchildren Kaydance Sneed, Hailey Pearse, Charlotte Wood, and Lily Pearse; and dear siblings Kathy Matthews, Thomas Peacock, and John Peacock.
Mary grew up in Aurora, Colorado and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado. An accomplished student receiving her masters in Audiology from Washington University, Mary spent her young career at the Central Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, MO and testing newborn infants for hearing disabilities. Years later, she gave up her career to raise her children full time who were the pride and joy of her life. She coached sports teams, volunteered to be “room mom,” and made herself available in any capacity she could to be involved with her children. While living in St. Louis for the majority of her adult life she never lost her love for everything Colorado, an avid cowboy boot collector and lover of all things western. She will be dearly missed and we are blessed to have shared so many wonderful memories with her.
