Mary Sue Hood

Mary Sue (Covert) Hood went to be with her sweetheart (Herman Hood) in Heaven on Monday, March 26, what would have been his 89th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 7 siblings, and her grand-daughter, Brandi Roussin. She is survived by all of her 7 children: Carolyn, Janie (Tom), Greg (Nan), Ruth, Diane, Elaine (Paul), Herman (Kelly), 18 grand children: Dawn (Jon), Zack (Heather), Nick (Colleen), Melissa (Jason), Janel, Caleb (Nicole), Christopher, Jacob (Katy), Mary (Thomas), Paul (Amanda), Jeremiah (Katy), Lexie (Matt), Ryan, Lacy, Hannah, Julie, Christopher, Thomas and 21 great-grandchildren. She loved decorating her home for the holidays, shopping, cooking and being with her family.

The services are Tuesday, April 3 @ 10:45 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to please donate to the VA Medical Center on behalf of Mary and Herman Hood.
