Mary Woolverton

Mary Louella Woolverton, 73, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away October 28, 2020. Mary was born to parents Lyle and Mary Smith, on May 6, 1947, in Hopewell, PA.Mary met Ernest Woolverton in 1962. They were married on October 3, 1964, in Washington Park, IL. Together they raised 3 children: Tammy, Karen, and Brian. Mary enjoyed shopping, decorating, and traveling. Mary retired from Southwestern Bell in 2001, and went on to enjoy a career in furniture sales.

Mary is survived by her daughter Tammy Kennon (Mark), daughter Karen Irwin, and son Brian Woolverton (Billie), Grandchildren Jessica, Alyssa, Jacklyn, Dorothy, Ian, and Abigail, and Great-grandchildren Mya, Max, David, Viola, Skyler, and Baylee.

She was preceded in death by daughter Deborah Lynn, sister Gladys Watts, and parents Lyle and Mary Smith.

The family has entrusted St. Paul’s United Church of Christ with the arrangements. Visitation with the family is scheduled for November 13, 2020, 4-8 p.m., in the Heritage Room. The Funeral Service is scheduled for November 14, 2020, at 10 a.m. St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Road, Oakville, MO 63129, REAR ENTRANCE.
