Mattie Mae Skibinski (Willard) passed away peacefully at Barnes Jewish Hospital on 07/10/2025 at the age of 77. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on 11/15/1947.
Predeceased by: parents Everette and Floye (Black) Willard and brothers John, Gary, Larry, sister Dorothy and grandson, James Skibinski.
Lovingly remembered by: Brothers James and William Alan (Bub), her sons James (Wendy) and Daniel, daughter Susan, stepson Robert, stepdaughter Colleen, grandkids James wife (Cassandra), Christian, Emily (Travis), Aaron (Hope), Nathaniel, Trynitee, Brennen, Jase, Mischa, Alexander, Nicholas, Jessica, Jenelle, Julia. Great-grandkids: James, Agatha, Corbin, Emily, Lucas, and Henry; and many nephews and nieces.
Mattie retired from the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas, NV after a long, successful career of 37 years. She enjoyed her morning coffee watching cardinals, sewing, crafting, reading, family game nights, making paper boats on rainy days for her grandchildren, telling stories of old memories and sharing laughs. She had an amazing sense of humor. Her creative mind and generous nature was unmatched by anyone. If you knew her, you knew she was sassy and fierce as well as kind hearted and very giving. She is loved and will be missed very much.
