Michael A. Demay ll
October 4,1983 – December 24, 2017~
Suddenly on Christmas Eve, Michael was taken from us. Michael is survived by his wife Emily Whitlock; his father and mother Michael Sr. & Mary DeMay; his father and mother-in-law, David & Martha Whitlock; Michael was a loving nephew and cousin; dear Godfather of Kingston McLean, and a awesome friend to many. He never met a stranger, he made friends everywhere he went. Michael was an honest and loyal person that was there if you needed him. He was so kind and generous, he would buy a homeless person a meal; when he cared about someone or something he cared about it with his whole heart.
He received an Associates Degree in Communications. His skills helped him to become a great Guest Service Specialist at Anheuser-Busch where he also developed the Beer School and was Employee of the month in the whole company because of it. From Anheuser-Busch, he moved on to Midland Optical where he worked as Assistant Manager of receiving and shipping. He also was employed at The Hub Group as a Highway Carrier Specialist. Mike was currently employed at the Celadon Group as an Account Specialist.
Mike, as he preferred to be called, was a “TRUE Sports Fan”. He loved to play volleyball and fuzzball. Whether it was the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Philadelphia Eagles or University of Kentucky Basketball, he would find something to watch even if none of his teams were playing.
The truth is that, Mike DeMay II, was a Wonderful Gift from God to all of us. There are so many great things that you can say about Mike and all would be true. He will truly be missed. When you look up to the sky and see a shooting star, know it’s Mike sending you a kiss and wave.
