Michael O’Hanlon Mayfield, a beloved member of his community and a cherished friend and family member, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Dixon, cherished friends, and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration for those he left behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael’s memory to his The Multiple Sclerosis Society. He will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on 9 August 2023 at 2 p.m.

His absence is a silent ache that will be felt by many, but his spirit will live on in the laughter, stories, and memories that he gifted to all those he encountered in his journey through life.

We find solace in knowing that his legacy of love, generosity, and compassion will endure. May he rest in peace.
