Michelle “Shell” Zurweller, born September 28, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024.

Shell was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother who brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. She is survived by her beloved mother, Susan Thomas, and her cherished children: Amanda Vaughn, Austin Zurweller, Crystal Rector, and Nicholas Chamineak. Her love for her grandchildren—Gavin, Cameron, Jaxon, Kohen, Nathaniel, Hannah, and Kai—was boundless.

Shell is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Zurweller Sr., and her dear daughter, Ashley Martin.

A celebration of Shell’s life will be held to honor her legacy and the profound impact she had on those around her on January 11, 2025 from 11:00-2:00 PM at St. Louis Cremation Downtown location, 2135 Chouteau Ave. St. Louis, MO 63103.

Shell will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a reminder to cherish every moment. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
