Nancy Carol Syamken (nee Kaczerowski) passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 surrounded by her son and daughter.

Born in St. Louis, MO on May 8, 1939, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Johnnie Bruno Syamken of Shiner, TX, mother Isabelle (April), stepmother Mary Julia (Andert) and father Leo Sylvester Kaczerowski.

After serving in the US Navy, she began her cherished, life-long career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in senior care at skilled nursing facilities.

Devoted mother of Leo and Julia. Dearest sister of Richard (Mary) Kaczerowski, Carol, Edward (Frank) Kaczerowski, Julia Kaczerowski, and Tom (Carol) Kaczerowski. Aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend of many.

Services were private.

Nancy’s son and daughter are forever grateful for the excellent care that Nancy received from Bethesda Southgate and Bethesda Hospice Care.
