
Nickolas J. Zeveski
October 17, 1945 – July 10, 2026
Retired architect Nickolas J. Zeveski, 80, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. Nick was born October 17, 1945, in East St. Louis, IL. He is survived by his wife, Pam (née Jelinek); his son, Adam, and his wife, Sarah (née Purdy); his son, Aaron; and his three wonderful grandchildren: Sam, Anya, and Leo. He was also a loving brother to his sister, Barbara (Bobbe) Zeveski.
Nick worked at Pet Incorporated, Metzler & Drinkhouse, Bank Building Corporation, and Phoenix Contracting before starting his own small architectural firm, Architects Office, Inc., in 1990.
He also served in the Naval Reserves for six years, including an active tour of duty in Vietnam from June 1968 to May 1969 on a river boat with the Mobile Riverine Force (MRF).
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the accentCare hospice team, whose compassion and care carried Nick gently home to the Lord and peace.
A “Celebration of Life” is planned for Saturday, September 12, 2026 (which would have been his and Pam’s 57th wedding anniversary) at Firehouse Bar & Grill (Ember Hall), 3500 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO 63125.
Nick chose to be cremated and have his ashes buried at a private service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
