Noel Williams

Noel Williams, 47, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2012, at Kindred Hospital.

Noel is predeceased by his brother, Bobby Williams.

Noel is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Alva M. Williams; his brother Earl J. Williams and his wife Tenesha; his brother Christopher J. Williams and his wife Sarah; his nieces and nephews, and the rest of his family and friends.

Noel was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on April 8, 1965, in a car right outside of the hospital, a story he loved to hear. In 1981, his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated from Sumner High School in 1983. Noel went on to enlist in the U.S. Army and was from there honorably discharged in 1986. Thereafter, he worked as a driver for Bi-State (Metro) Transit, a job he really enjoyed.

Noel loved sports and was a fan of the LSU Tigers, St. Louis Rams and Cardinals, and Los Angeles Lakers. He would watch games on television and listen to them simultaneously with his radio so as not to miss a thing. Every year he looked forward to making NCAA Football Bowl Game & Basketball picks with his brothers. Noel really enjoyed music, Imo’s Pizza, a good laugh and spending time with his family. He was a generous person, always giving what he could to his family, and was always there to listen when his family needed him.

The family of Noel Williams wishes to express our sincere thanks for the prayers, phone calls, cards, flowers & support from relatives and friends. We also thank the hard working staff of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Kindred Hospital and St. Louis Cremation.
