Norma Ann Hirst (Lipsinsky) fortified with the Sacraments passed peacefully and was called to Eternal Life on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Cherished wife of the late John R. Hirst, Sr; dear mother of Lori (Don) Brickey, Lynn (John) Shoemake, Lisa Hirst, John (Barb) Hirst, and Jeanne (Joe) Rumsey; loving grandmother of Melissa (Jake), Jason (Brittany), Joshua (Veronica), Michael (Hilary), Jennifer (John), Julie (Jonny), Anna, Joseph, and Vincent; loving great grandmother of Landon, Willow, Olive, Miles, Desmond, Oliver, Aria, Elijah, and Alexandra; cherished daughter of the late Andrew Lipsinsky and Mary Hill; adored sister of the late Fran Souris, Thelma Waller, Edith Hartmann, Charles Lipsinsky, and Jerry Lipsinsky; cherished Auntie to many.
Norma’s favorite activity was to spend time in conversation with her family and celebration of every holiday together.
On March 26th a celebration of Norma’s life will be at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd. 63128, at 11:00 AM followed by a private burial which will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where Norma will be buried alongside her loving husband, John R. Hirst, Sr.
