Norma was a member of the Perryville Methodist Church. She also served on the board of DCAI-Disabled Citizens Alliance for Independence for 18 years.
Norma was an independent seamstress working in various factories throughout her adult life. She also kept very busy sewing and mending many projects for family and friends. She could tackle anything from wedding, bridesmaid, and prom dresses to some more eccentric projects such as cushions for travel trailers and the repairs for a cockpit of an airplane. She also enjoyed traveling any chance she had. She loved cooking and baking and was an avid walker. You could find her most early mornings at the Park Center walking with a group of ladies. She loved hiking and was ready to go anytime someone mentioned the word. Her passion was spending time with family and friends.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we celebrate the remarkable life she lived. A life of many trials and tribulations and she always battled through with the amazing strength and independence she had handed down to her from her parents.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family and friends at the Perryville Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements were by St. Louis Cremation.
