Norma Jean Vonder Haar (nee Beard) passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 2, 1932 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Lew and Nina Beard.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alvin, her dear son Daniel and her dear daughter Sheila. She is survived by her older brother Lew (Barb); her loving daughters – Teri (Don), Robin (late Scott) and Lisa (Larry); her dear sons -Michael (Cindy) and Alvin (Dan); 11 wonderful grandchildren – Mel (Mike), Ryan, T.J. (Kelly), Petie (Sarah), Brandy, Pat, Scott, Tony, Aimee, Dan Dan, and Katie (Glen); and 9 great grandchildren.

Two extraordinary gentlemen – Patrick and Scott, unselfishly devoted their time for the well being of their grandparents. We thank you both.

Norma’s memorial services will be at 4205 Flad, St. Louis MO 63110 on Sunday, October 18th from 12-5 pm. We kindly ask for family only from 12-1 please.
