Ora William Boston

Born February 25, 1942 in St. Louis, MO.

Ora joined the Navy in the early 1960’s and moved to Simi Valley and he retired in 1988 from the Navy. In 2007, Ora moved back to St. Louis after retiring from Farmers Insurance to be with the children and grandchildren he missed during his service.

Ora was preceded in death by his father Ora E. Boston, mother Bernice E. Boston, nephew Patrick Martin and pet Bandit.

Ora is survived by his children Linde Boston, Ron Boston, Lisa Stricklin, Orly Boston and Lora Durrer, grandchildren Anthony Alderfer, Max Boston, Jake Boston, Damian McMullin, Larry McMullin, Sara McMullin, Travis Brocker and Emily Durrer and his first great-grand baby Alderfer on the way, brothers and sisters Gary (Wally) Boston, Jill (Ed) Martin and Kim (Butch) Stinton, and the love of his last days, the new addition, Annie (Lil Orphan puppy).

Ora was a generous and compassionate man who was loved by his friends and family.

Special appreciation for his daughter Linde who took special care of him the last 2 years of his life.

Ora will be laid to rest at his place of Honor on Friday December 8, 2017. The escort will start at the High Ridge VFW. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2:30pm. Friends and family are welcomed to meet at the VFW before the escort (opens at 11am).
